“The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.”
I love this movie so much. It brings me warmth and comfort. It is so much fun to watch, I mean from a sitting down and watching it experience and I mean that entirely from a visual perspective that could be detached from the film as a whole. The lighting, the coloring, the camera movement, the set decoration, and just the sheer rendering of the final animation is all so gorgeous. Plus the film is funny, probably has the most…

Last warning for spoilers.
Very watchable, but it often felt soulless and like it missed the mark. Yeah it is cool that all the villains are back, but none of them ever get a chance to shine. The Spider-Man movies are often known for their great villains, so pulling in all of the old ones should be a slam dunk, but it isn't. I'd say, with the exception of Electro, each of the villains didn't have a reason to come…
The magic of the movies. This is a fantastic film. We truly do not deserve Spielberg in this current era of filmmaking. I loved the cast, I loved the look of the film, I loved the story, I loved the editing, I loved the heart, and I loved the depiction of editing physical film reels/stock. What truly makes me passionate about the making of a movie is the physicality behind the production and all of the elements that become hidden…
I've seen this movie enough now to not have many new thoughts. I'm always just along for the ride of it now. I love the hazy nostalgic look of the film. And I also really noticed this time how little Kevin can actually be in the film. Nothing new to say, but happy Thanksgiving and happy Holidays ahead!
If you want a father-child relationship movie to watch with a parent this Holiday season go and watch Mitchell's Vs. Machines on Netflix instead.
If you want lanky animated characters that have issues with their dad and go on a journey where they learn to accept each other then go and watch A Goofy Movie.
This movie is not really worth the time. It is generic, safe as can be, predictable, and by the books. I was never surprised or…
For some reason I decided to start watching this film at like 2 AM since I couldn't sleep. I saw it was on Disney+ and I saw it had the director's commentary, so then I watched it. I have no idea why I thought watching this horrible film was a good idea at all. The main perk is that Jon Favreau was talking basically the entire time so I didn't have to see it. I took some extensive notes on…
