I have watched many films surrounding racism that have been based on true stories. But none of them have left as moved and angry and terrified as this one.
I think it’s because it was the first time I have watched a film in a cinema in months and the booming sound of gunshots and also the words “I am a revolutionary” just stuck with me. If I had watched this on TV, the experience would not have been the same.
Daniel Kaluuya… there are no words to even describe his performance. I loved the score and the cinematography, and obviously the performances.
