Ryan Rossi’s review published on Letterboxd:
the first two-thirds were so much fun. I wished disney embraced making more genre films instead of being the genre so to speak bc in a movie all about the past and heritage this should have definitely inherited a bit more from the kung foo genre then they did, which was to say practically nothing. shame the chorography was fucking amazing tho for the fight scenes. I can't tell which movie had a better bus fight scene this or 'nobody'
omfg this film's director directed 'short term 12' one of my favorite films ever. this dude got some serious family issues and im happy he's able to address them with his movies. When the credits started rolling i saw his name and i was like "hey, where do i know that name from..." and viola, hot damn this world be trifling
