I didn't expect this film to be this good...It's a pleasant surprise going into it and just enjoying it
I don't think a day goes by where I don't drop a quote from this movie....Is that sad?...Not sure but it makes me laugh my ass off
A "found footage" and Spanish sub-titled film?...Usually that's two strikes for me but REC quickly delivers....Down in the count 0-2 off the bat REC picks up the pace after a slow start and doesn't stop. The "found footage" aspect achieves the suspense and scares the audience craves and the dialogue and scenes are so quick the sub-titles grab you into the movie.. A pleasant surprise.. Would have loved to have seen this in a theater
The "scariness" of this movie triples if you have any type of issues with claustrophobia....Even without, a great movie with the lights out
This is my go-to Xmas movie and the version I enjoy...The others are good as well...But George C. Scott just seems to be made to play Scrooge
Probably one of the best scenes in American cinema and prob De Nirno's best as well
Affleck and Damon won an Oscar for the screenplay but I enjoy the fact the Williams won his only Oscar for best sup actor...It was a great role for him even though I was hoping for Burt Reynolds in Boogie Nights
