Obviously very strongly Lynch influenced, but not as good as.
Anyway, not bad either. Definitely interesting and amusing enough to make me wanna watch another Peter Strickland's film soon.

I did enjoyed it (in a wider sense of the term of course, given the topic and the storyline), it is very intensive and almost heartbreaking at moments, but the ending really bears way too much resemblance to (the ending of) Xavier Dolan's Mommy.
I felt really strong Haneke vibes in this one. Yeah I know his first feature was filmed after this so I don't know, I presume his early style was maybe influenced by this.
