I understand why this film is such a staple in the Sci-fi realm. Stylistically from the aesthetic, score and overall mood of the film, it's stunning to watch. 

But coming into a film like this poses challenges to be able to watch it with a blank slate. I wasn't sure what I was expecting to be honest. I didn't find myself entirely drawn in by it nor was I completely not enjoying it. It was strange film watching experience to say the least.
