very torn on this. on one hand, sam raimi is at the helm of a marvel film. on the other, it doesn’t quite go the full-tilt horror angle some might expect it to. elizabeth olsen is easily the best part of the movie, delivering a career-best performance. overall, i think multiverse of madness is close to being good, but i might have just gone in with too high expectations, especially knowing sam raimi was in the director’s chair for this one. i hate to say it but it just wasn’t that good.
