“Have you ever drank a milkshake in the pale moonlight?”
My expectations have been met and I need the sequel now. I was mostly impressed by this whole movie. The CGI looked fantastic, the realistic camerawork was astounding, and I was able to resonate with both of the main characters. The score was great as well and the world building was done terrifically. I loved the story and just an all around great sci fi movie.
That was actually a lot more enjoyable then I thought
The whole thing was just fun. The soundtrack was good, the relationship was well paced and some scenes I couldn’t help but smile. Some things you can’t ignore or simply don’t care about but when it’s good, it’s good.
That’s gotta be one of the best scores of all time
I thoroughly enjoyed this whole movie. I don’t know why it took me so long to watch this horror classic. This movie has one the best first 15 minutes I’ve seen in any horror movie. It was set up perfectly, I loved the story and the pacing. The score amplified every scene and Gregory Peck was a force on screen. Brilliant movie, it’s only negative is that it slows down too much after the first hour.
This was a good dark comedy movie. I think I enjoyed it. It did lose my attention a little towards the end and I was never fully invested in what was going on. But the jokes were pretty funny and it’s always nice to see Winona Ryder in the 80’s. I don’t think I liked Christian Slater though, his voice just sort of annoys me. The high school satire was enjoyable enough and even though I didn’t love it as much as I was hoping for, it was still a good time
