    The Long Goodbye

elliott gould’s chill-like performance in a film where the plot is much deeper than how he behaves was so damn good to watch

also- the ending is one of the best i’ve ever seen from this decade, holy shit

  • Hardcore

paul schrader is an extremely messy man, but this film was crafted very well for it’s dark storyline. so gritty and heart wrenching the further you continue.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

it’s a bit depressing how these decline after the 3rd movie but god, we are so lucky to have films 1-3

it’s refreshing to see a disney film that’s actually fun and not made to fit a certain criteria as so many are.
    i need the sequel ASAP

i love that the first horror film for soviet russia is basically an obscure witch fairytale with too many bowl haircuts to even count. insanely solid though, the last 15 minutes are honestly better than most horror films that come out yearly.

here to not acknowledge the finale, but purely my happiness of seeing michael c hall as dexter again. i have been waiting for this for what feels like YEARS and i couldn’t even tell you how i felt whenever this limited series was announced. thank you michael for making dexter one of the greatest television characters in history and coming back to give us this final story for him.

  • Beauty and the Beast

    Beauty and the Beast

it’s hard for me not to have a soft spot for this one, my mother and i had it on repeat during my childhood since it was our favorite and i probably haven’t seen it since then

also i’m a bit tripped out just now realizing lucy from twin peaks plays the feather duster

  • The Hangover Part II

    The Hangover Part II

  • Blow Out

we do not appreciate john travolta enough. i would rather hype him up for this than pulp fiction by far.

wonderful de palma choice to start 2022 off on my watchlist for his films

  • The Doom Generation

hearing alison by slowdive play in a film has made my lifespan longer
