I'm so glad I finally got around to this film because this shit is SO fucking good. Somehow every single performance is great, and I fucking LOVE the way that this is directed where its show don't tell at its finest. The way Fincher handles suspense as well is masterful mf had a bitch SHAKING. He managed to show the incompetence from all parties involved around the case so well, which is pretty much the only thing I knew about it before I watched the film. It manages to give all the facts in a runtime that looks scary in length but that goes by so fast, and the way is presents obsession is great as well. I like the way he shows the importance of things without overtly showing it, the humor where it's not downplaying the seriousness of the situation but still stops it from just being straight depressing.
