Lots of cool murder here. Very nice. Images go hard. Explosions held back till the best screengrab ever. I’ll still call Peter Berg the poor man’s Michael Bay because he can never do Bayhem™️ like Bay, and that’s a good thing. That era when CGI was overconfidently put into movies. The Rock feels a little less like a robot here. Maybe it’s the hair and chubby cheeks.

An Autumn Tale 1998
Arguably more complex than printemps with the handling of more mature adults and intercutting more characters and relationships to tell this senior sized tale set in France’s Autumn.

A Tale of Springtime 1990
Rohmer delicately places storylines right in front of us. You don't even know you want it tell the logs are on fire and the heat turns up—taking a dive and spell in instinct and spreading young, weird in-between parts of our youth on display in typical Rohmer fashion. Grease 1978
Another film that's so popular a person's already seen it by now before actually sitting down to watch the film. I was a little <off> edge that there was no conflict or seemingly real conflict but this thing is just an entertaining puff piece and I really enjoyed it. Travolta is so amazing. Olivia's voice makes me cry and the supporting cast members have so much energy it lives up to the status.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
I don't care what you think I wanted to see it again, practically in the theater by my lonesome.
