Absolutely carried by three powerhouse performances and the true story credit. This and that Eyes on the Prize must go so well together. It tells such an important story, first and foremost. Tells it as it is. Hate to admit that I learned so much history. Kaluuya and Stanfield have so much screen presence the film sort of sits back and watches. It's riveting all right. Great music too.
I forgot what surround sound was like. Yeah, I saw it in a theater.
