Asghar Farhadi is my personal favorite filmmaker. There's something about his movies that are endlessly enthralling. For me, nobody crafts more probing, compelling interpersonal dramas with beautifully-flawed characters than Farhadi.

This list is based on personal preference. For example, while I consider A Hero a "better" movie overall compared to Everybody Knows, I enjoyed the latter slightly more.
