This was a pleasant surprise! It's like a twisted mix between Misery, The Beguiled, and...a Korean classic that I won't mention by name for fear of potential spoilers. 😜
Shrew's Nest centers the story of an agoraphobic (Montse) and her younger sister ("La Nina"), whom Montse has raised. One fateful day, their neighbor injures his leg on his way down the stairs and Montse decides to help him...but, sometimes, the line between salvation and damnation can become blurred.
Kind of a slow burn to start, but it definitely gets more captivating as the story unfolds. And by the end of it - sheesh. 🤯😲
Definitely a thriller worth checking out.
