This is one of those movies that is an absolute classic for the early years of me being alive, and despite having not seen it up until a couple years ago, it's still highly enjoyable.

Johnny Depp is great in his roles as an actor, but unfortunately he's often placed in a poorly written movie. Pirates of the Carribean is where he excels- bringing out all the humor, oddities, and his different type of persona. It's a little ridiculous at points, but never goes overboard with what it presents in its story. Surprisngly, the whole cast works together super well to the point where even the minor characters offer up some hilarious debuts.

The adventure itself is fantastic and easy to follow with one of my favorite (and very catchy) soundtracks of all time, and it all leads this to becoming an easy rewatch. It's quirky and different, but equally (if not more) serious in its tone and dramatic sequences.

Overall, this film I feel is suitable for anybody that just wants a fun one to watch. Whether it should be for all ages (particularly with younger kids) is debatable, but it's something everyone should be able to grow into.
