  im just so psychologically tormented by the fact that this is getting so much praise and love despite its laughably terrible writing and pseudo humanism. A polished, clinical, hypocritical aestheticizing of economic/immigrant hardship that gave its characters no personalities or inner complexities beyond shallow identity politics.
