Siegel™’s review published on Letterboxd:
Exceptionally well shot, bright, disturbing, funny, and immersive. Unlike Hereditary (and most horror movies), Midsommar doesn't hide its terror in the shadows -- the disturbing ongoings are presented in the bright lights, with sharp close-ups, forcing us to confront the fear. The cinematography is really interesting and the editing is pretty cool. If Aster keeps this up, he will go down as one of the great horror directors.
