    i love cinema

I felt so much joy and so much tragedy I FELT so much. Reminded me of my hostel. You can feel her rage and their joy and liberation and it’s just so lovely I can’t say more than lovely. Top 10 films I saw this year.

technical details that made me fall in love.

    - shallow focus, shift in focus GORGEOUSLY DONE
    - use of silence
    - the yelling (weird I know) but it did a number on me

i had soooo much fun and was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Technically, Lokesh has got it down to a T, except some of the action bits. Writing wise I really hope he works with more writers in the future so there’s more depth. I didn’t enjoy VJS’ performance, but had a lot of fun with Fahadh’s, Maya’s and abhiyum nanum actor whose name I forget. I looooved the flashback animation. I really love Denis Villeneuve because he took the most basic hero’s journey beginning of a lore and said how do I make EVERY scene unique. It’s obvious that I love Arrival and in many ways I still felt like this was on the same tangent? Timothèe is so good beyond the jokes also and has A1 range. So much fun I love movies and theatres never leaving one ever again. Wait that sounds like a death premonition-
