Letterboxd — Your life in film

I loooooove that documentary about this topic with Simon Farnaby - The King in the Car Park, I’ve seen it so many times. I enjoyed this as a dramatised version of events and it shed more light on some stuff behind the scenes, especially the role of the university in it all 👀

been meaning to watch this for so long - it’s always top of the ‘if you enjoyed Zodiac you might enjoy these’ lists and I very much see why!

this was fun. can’t lie. it was really fun

watched with my mum at the cinema - she thought the film was weird ❤️

it was no Zodiac but it’s an investigative true crime film of course I’ll watch it

I watched this back in like march and I’m only logging it now but it’s a perfect autumnal movie actually

saw this at the cinema with my friend who’s the biggest Brendan Fraser fan ever and it was all round a good time I can’t believe I’ve never seen this before, they just don’t make movies like this anymore

the most perfect use of talking heads’ psycho killer in a film ever 

also imagine a double feature of this and ratatouille (2007)

the pride and prejudice parallels… I loved it 

I recently read a collection of Nora Ephron’s essays and I’m absolutely obsessed with her and need to consume ever piece of media she ever put out into the big wide world

the way the perception of this film has changed so significantly since Covid, I can’t remember what it was like to watch it before 2020 but now all anyone can do is think back and compare the events of this to what happened in real like. Kinda like how something like
Towering Inferno might be perceived differently by some after 9/11
