I can’t rate this movie. Nor can I like it as a whole.
Let’s start. Every aspect of filmmaking? Undeniably epic. Set-pieces unlike anything we’ve seen before. Well-paced. Two movie stars at the top of their game shredding every scene they’re in. for all it’s hypocrisy intact, I am grateful that movie star culture is still alive and well. There is a singular joy in exclusively and collectively watching a charismatic performer on a big screen create something that is soon to be iconic cultural lexicon.
