Genuinely one if it's kind
A reminder to venture more often into the further edges of what art house film has to offer.
This kind of slow moving, a-cut-every-few-minutes, focused on the sensory experience rather then a plot in the narrower sense, kind of filmmaking satisfies in a way that is weirdly alien to the experience of my daily life (which has grown faster, more complex and less focused in the last month).
Memoria managed to, at least for a moment, give me space to breathe and remember what I long for.
I am grateful for that.
