Sheldon Dugas’s review published on Letterboxd:
Eggers best film I've seen yet, I finally enjoyed one of his movies. Alexander Skarsgård was great in this movie. He truly looked like a menacing Viking who could tear you apart in seconds. Also a fun turn from Nicole Kidman, who gets some great scenes late in the movie. It's a revenge tale that subverts so many expectations. Some scenes had no impact because of their lack of development, but the brutality of this movie was cool to see. And quite a packed theatre too, and everyone was quiet and off their phones, which is rare to see at a movie nowadays.
