Sheldon Dugas’s review published on Letterboxd:
A bit odd to me that both Kaluuya and Stanfield are nominated in the supporting actor category, considering that both of them are clearly lead actors in this movie, but hey, at least they both got the nom because both were fantastic in this fantastic movie. The movie doesn't shy away from violence, and it shows the many injustices faced by the Black Panthers. Multiple times the film has an FBI agent compare them to the KKK, which is just so absurd that it no doubt was a reality. It's a well shot film, with a flashy first shot of Stanfield that I really loved. Definitely check this out if you can.
