Sheldon Dugas’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’m not the biggest fan of the Ghostbusters series. I’ve only seen the first two and that was years ago. I’m not tempted to ever rewatch the movies, so it came as a bit of a shock to me that I was kinda excited for this movie. This movie is okay to good, and while it is enjoyable, I wish it went a bit further diving into how silly this whole concept is. It’s weird, because I wonder if the Ghostbusters were these big world wide heroes or not. Sometimes it seems like they are, and others they aren’t. Weird. The VFX and action are fun in this, so are the characters, particularly Mckenna Grace’s Phoebe, who stole this movie with her dry humour and a really fun performance from Grace, who has been killing it for years on the small screen as a child character actor.
