Just a girl who loves movies 🎥 🍿
Pieces of a woman is one of the most tragically beautiful films I have seen in quite some time.
I was deeply moved by this film and it’s story, not only because I am a woman and I empathise with the lead, but everything about it moved me. The character studies, family dynamics and the catastrophic affect of grief, was portrayed so well.
Vanessa Kirby gives a perfect understated performance into her characters grief. Shia LaBeouf gives a phenomenal career…
Mortal kombat isn’t trying to be anything else than what it is. And that is, a film based on a video game.
It doesn’t try to over bloat the story and it’s characters, it “tips it’s toes” so to speak, in the realms of this universe. Where it shines is in those glimpses of its characters, set pieces and action sequences, which in my opinion absolutely makes the film.
The use of action is perfectly executed, I know some people…
So, I watched this film after watching the tv series (yet to read the book).
I was surprised at how much the show followed from this film.
You could basically watch this movie for a season 1 re cap of the tv show.
I thought Natasha Richardson as Kate was great, she’s so elegant in the role, a very different portayal from Elizabeth Moss.
The film is quite dated however and you can see that the budget holds it back…
Zack Snyder's Justice League truly is a film for the fans, a film that was made all thanks to its fans.
Tragically, Zack Snyder had to step away from the film back in 2017, resulting in a cut of the film getting a theatrical release, that left many displeased, to say the least.
Personally, I didn't "hate" the 2017 film, I believe I rated the film a 3/5, I thought the film was obviously flawed and had some major problems…
