Power Metal Cinema

Even though it's the least sexy metal subgenre (too pristine and major key heavy for people who want to get into the grittier side of metal), Power Metal is my favorite genre of music. So much so that I capitalize it whenever I write or type it out. The films in this list give me that power metal vibe. For the record, I don't like every film I put here. Criteria is that the film is fantastical (not necessarily fantasy), blunt, and somewhat optimistic.

Bands that the film reminds me of will be in the notes, if you're curious.
