Exciting to see this projected on 35MM and to hear Albert Serra talk a little at the Q&A (which amusingly enough, Serra did so much of the A that there was little time for any Q's). The Star Wars Holiday Special 1978
So every year, all the Wookies of Kashyyyk dress up in snuggies and carry glowing orbs to a tree. Sounds like a fantastic Holiday. I’m sure glad Chewie was able to make it to celebrate a day of peace; a day of harmony.
I think the fact that I chose to watch this before any of the Disney movies shows how little interest I have in Abrams Wars. People should have learned from this that when George Lucas isn’t involved in making a Star Wars film, it’s not gonna look pretty.
