    Bong Joon Ho perfectly represents a hyper masculine system that doesn’t acknowledge the violence and terror it creates. These detectives are shown as violent, unstable and kinda incompetent. Women are shown either as victims or servants to the men; and even when they show intelligence, they are neglected.
