“I’m an adult. I’m happy, really.”

One of the most heartbreaking stories I’ve ever seen. Gena Rowland’s’ performance left me completely in awe. I had to pause the film in a few places just to take it all in. I was devastating, laughing, crying, and speechless...all at once. This film has been on my watchlist forever and I’m glad I finally sat down and gave it all of my attention. I get now why it’s hailed as a classic.
