  "Puss in Boots laughs in the face of death."

  "Animation is film".

  Aside from just being a factually true declaration, it's a phrase used a lot to describe a very specific kind of animated piece. Films like Into the Spider-Verse, Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio and other animated features that might still be PG, might still attract kids, but look and feel like nothing else.
