I laughed when Nicolas Cage yelled “…testiiiiiiicle!!!” the same way he yelled “You ripped my shiiiirt!!!” In Mandy, and when I saw that Tak, from one of my favorite movies “Versus” in this, I thought it would be a better movie than it was.
“Tak toc, Tak toc, Tak toc….”
Now I’m going to see how many times I can watch the movie “Versus” in 24 hours, then do the same with “Tokyo Gore Police.”

I just watched this on the “Kino Cult” app on my roku, the app is free w/commercials, but it’s got a decent collection of movies. This was one of the movies. It wasn’t big on plot, but it had a nice amount of natural beauty and female empowerment of the 60’s.

I didn’t realize this was a Cronenberg film when I scored this gem in the bargain bin at Blockbuster back in the day. I get the “feels” every time I watch it.
Watched it with Cronenberg commentary. It’s a trip how his voice sounds the same every time he speaks.

    1. The 4 of the 5 main characters are females, at different times of their life, Cathy = puberty, Melanie = new love, Annie (the teacher) = old love and Lydia = Mother.
    2. The radio announcer at the end says…
