Part of my Halloween Horror Marathon
This is becoming a Halloween staple for me. I'm sure this was scarier in the theaters, but it's still creepy as crap. The mystery is great and it's a great build up to the end. The scene where she is crying and apologizing to everyone is really affective. The behind the scenes stuff is really interesting to and how made the acting really realistic. Also there is a great bonus feature mockumentary about the blair witch and it honestly makes the movie creepier if you watch it first. While it is not the first found footage horror, that was The Last Broadcast, it certainly paved the way for Clover field, Paranormal Activity, etc. Absolutely worth a watch.
