Kyle Bruce’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is definitely the sweetest of the Studio Ghibli films I've seen, in fact probably one of the sweetest films of all time. It has a very minimal plot and instead paints a (beautifully drawn) portrait of childhood curiosity. The blissful musical score helps emphasise the magic that can be found in the world that Miyazaki has created, which ironically is one of his more realistic settings. My Neighbor Totoro has such joyful personality that almost effortlessly makes you feel like a kid again.
