Kyle Bruce’s review published on Letterboxd:
Fear Street Part Three: 1666 is a strong end to a really fun horror trilogy. The cast from the first two films return to play different characters, this time in a colonial town in 1666, where we discover the origins of the Shadyside curse. Apart from some really dodgy accent work, the performances are a step above the previous films and Leigh Janiak's direction is more confident too, with less needle drops and cheap jumps. The type of horror has also changed from late 20th century slasher tribute to dark folk horror which allows for some truly creepy moments. 1666 is my favourite of the trilogy and a bloody good horror movie.
