Searching 2018
Das Konzept einen Film ausschließlich über die Interaktionen der Charaktere am Computerbildschirm darzustellen ist nicht neu, aber wurde noch nie so überzeugend realisiert wie in Searching.
Die Geschichte eines Mannes, toll gespielt von John Cho, der seine verschwundene Tochter mittels ihres Laptops sucht, ist exzellent geschrieben, mitnehmend und trotz einiger Wendungen niemals unglaubwürdig.
Am Besten schaut man den Film mit so wenig Vorwissen wie möglich und lässt sich mitreißen von diesem packenden Drama, welches einem nicht so schnell aus dem Kopf gehen wird.

Cats ist wie ein Fiebertraum, den man kriegt , wenn man zu viel Whiskas gegessen hat, nur nicht annähernd so lustig wie das klingt.
Von Beginn an zerrt einen der Film, gedreht von Tom Hooper, der vermutlich unverdienteste Gewinner des Regie-Oscars der letzten 10 Jahre, in seine verstörende Welt voller „Katzen“ und lässt nicht mehr los.
