I saw Mike Faist along with Lucas Hedges in Brokeback Mountain in the west end (it was an absolutely beautiful production I really recommend seeing it if you are able to), and I was reminded of his talent and the vibrant brilliance of Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story so I gave it a rewatch, and I love it even more than I did before! My review is linked above :))
Anna Nicole Smith: You Don't Know Me 2023
An interesting and engaging documentary that delves deeper into the life of a misunderstood icon. It takes on a very typical documentary approach, combining found footage with photos and interviews but all of which are well chosen and well structured.
Not knowing much about Anna Nicole Smith before watching this documentary I found it sensitive and respectful, praising her for who she was and empathising with her for where she went wrong. I found the comparisons to her and Marilyn Monroe strikingly interesting.
Worth watching to gain some insight.
The Hangover 2009
I should be critical, I should see the issues, I should not laugh, I should not have had fun... but... it’s so... fucking... funny...
Jerry Maguire 1996
Feel like shit just want 90s Tom Cruise back.
