  Brash, bombastic, flashy take on Elvis Presley's life story, yet incredibly moving when it needs to be. Transfixed throughout, my backside didn't even notice I was watching a film almost 3 hours long.

  Both Austin Butler and Tom Hanks provide mesmerising performances.

  Well, after this and Glass, M. Night Shyamalan has squandered his second chance in the industry. Perhaps for his next project he may consider directing sombody else's script instead of his own, maybe then he may stand a chance to redeem himself. Again. The dialogue is painfully wooden, so much so it makes Tommy Wiseau's look Oscar worthy in comparison.
