What did feel like another Scream clone with knife-wielding killers in black (just absent the Ghost Face mask) stalking college students for some reason to be elaborated by the end of the film incorporates the message of selfishness in the face of a serious developing virus and how that can "encourage" quite an emotional reaction.

Yeah, I think Scream fans will dig this. For the most part. But I can see how others will be like me and just have pandemic / COVID exhaustion, wanting nothing to do with any reminders of it.
