In case you haven’t noticed, Batman is weird. He’s a weirdo. He doesn’t fit in. And he doesn’t want to fit in. Have you ever seen him without this stupid mask on? That’s weird.
biggest critiques: felt like two movies in one because they didn’t know if they’d get another one. Kravitz deserved more screen-time but then again I guess the movie is called “the batman”. Also lack luster editing, didn’t really utilize the shots to engage with the viewers
BUT the set design, ambiance and direction this iteration of Batman went in is definitely my cup of tea. The Batman manages to stand out and be something audiences haven’t seen before. The plot is not predictable and they managed to continue to successfully raise the stakes.
All around the acting was great, but didn't match the style of the cinematography at times. Pattinson and Kravitz have excellent chemistry. Pattinson also did an excellent job of becoming this role and not being held back by his prior roles. The genuinely made the Riddler scary which is so cool!
this was good.
