"Why are you being such a bitch?"
"Because I'm HUNGRY."
Sleepwalkers is one of childhood favorites that I must've seen a couple dozen times easily, haven't seen in decades, and now rewatching it as an adult makes me think, "yep, this is a definite contributor to me being the way I am." Don't get me wrong, I'm at least kind of neat, but a special kind of person definitely comes out of seeing things like this movie and Hellraiser and other cuckoo violent gory gross and just plain weird stuff from the 80s and 90s. I usually like those people, and I think this is probably one of my favorite Stephen King adaptations still.
Wow, when people mention the incestuous relationship between Alice Krige's and Brian Kraus' characters they mean really incestuous, not just hinted at with looks and moods, like full on sex scenes and making out all. the. time. Goddamn, so uncomfortable.
It's got some pretty neat makeup and effects in it though.
Maddy's boyfriend Ron Perlman is in this as a cop for a couple minutes.
