Aueter cinema at its finest.
Darkly humorous and suspenseful, Monday is a phenomenal piece of entertainment with a voice of its own. There seems to be a bigger statement being made here about guns, but it's almost like the film speaks this sarcastic language that makes you unsure when you're supposed to laugh and when you're supposed to actually take it seriously. This sense of carelessness really favors the film's chaotic nature. It throws any certainty you might have about it out of the window, pats you on the shoulder with a grin and calmly tells you "hey, just... have fun... ok?"
