Some Fields in England: Anger, Violence, and Comedy in the Void

Ben Wheatley's 2013 film, A Field in England, reminded me visually, textually, and narratively of quite a few modern movies.

Can't we all just get along? What's that? We're already dead? Well, that doesn't mean we have to keep fighting! Or maybe it does. It depends. This list's subtitle, "Anger, Violence, and Comedy in the Void" points to the proceeding movies' thematic similarities.

Please comment with your thoughts & possible additions to the list!
