Sarah Shachat’s review published on Letterboxd:
It took me a really long time to figure out that I found the De Niro flashbacks so much more compelling and superior to the shenanigans in Nevada because the warm, seductive olive light of that line is almost hagiographic. The blues and beiges of Michael's world are either too cold or too sickly, striving without feeling. Because a man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man. You're a bastard, Gordon Willis.
