I first watched We Need to Talk About Kevin around four or five years ago, and I was instantly captivated. Beau Is Afraid is undeniably beautiful, absurd, and truly unforgettable. But itβs also a nightmare. Never has a film made me feel so many emotions all at once. The Nun 2018
The Nun is a slightly unremarkable film but itβs still not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. With a simple premise that works for the most part, The Nun manages to deliver on scares and maintains a creepy atmosphere all the way through. Stylistically, this is incredible. Valak has a heavy, terrifying presence and she is one of the freakiest horror characters in my opinion. I mean, just look at her!Β
