I Care a Lot

I Care a Lot ★½

Worst "new film experience" since Mulan.

Technically the movie is well assembled and average (5/10), but its story is terribly unethical. It's about women (of course: a lesbian couple) taking advantage of lonely, old people on a professional level. Disgusting. 🤢🤮I don't even want to moralize here any longer. What did I see???

The second part of the movie evoked the awful mainstream era of the 2000s. I worked 15,000 hours on a script and I can tell you that anyone could write such dialogues in 3 days and/or 50 hours like this.

This "film" will be forgotten in two years, and commercial channels will acquire the rights to broadcast it on a boring Tuesday afternoon.

This is the new, brainwashed, rainbow Hollywood: a blondie, a dwarf, a black judge and a female partner for the female protagonist.

Yes, this is your "equality" in 2021. Bravo! "Keep goin'!" "Slay, girl!" "Everyone has the right to do what they want!" - You, brainwashed sheep would say sentences like these to protect the wrong things.

Just to be clear: if the protagonists (or antagonists in this case) were men, I would still have the same opinion about the whole movie. As John Lennon wrote: "But when you talk about destruction, don't you know that you can count me out."
