Sanjeet Singh’s review published on Letterboxd:
The muddy lands on which these men walk, fumble-stumble-wobble and then fly into cosmos may seem similar in various other films, but Eggers soaks them in so much detail that it is hard for a viewer to not be mesmerized by the sheer brutality of it. Robert Eggers like the charmer he is, makes his characters gnarl, squelch in the idiosyncrasies of his world, and in an almost linear fashion tells us a 'fairly' Shakespearean tale complete with betrayal, romance, tragedy and a jester.
Would love a double bill with Green Knight.
