Hard-hitting , poignant , deeply rooted and nuanced is what CHUP ! is. Definitely not your usual serial killer saga with a cat & mouse chase screenplay. It’s pretty straightforward with what it wants to be and does so with utmost conviction. Dulquer is in fine form and his choice of scripts has always amazed me. Sunny Deol and Shreya provide great support to a very sensitive and original script.
The slow burn narrative slowly grew on me and by the time…

Had they done away with a rather far fetched and unnecessary flashback in the third act and worked on a better climax , this would’ve definitely been a more taut and poignant watch.
Still , the important narrative , strong performances (especially Dilijit & Zeeshan) , tidy cinematography and an elevating background score make this well worth your time.

Reasons why Brahmastra deserves Atleast one watch in big screens -
    1. This is the result of 10 years of blood & sweat of Ayan Mukerji , the same man behind lovelies like Wake Up Sid & YJHD.
    2. This is one of the most artificially beautiful looking , technically strong (VFX) and ambitious films coming out of India (It’s just awe inspiring and something to marvel at what the makers have achieved.)
    3. It also has a thumping background sound design…
