Sam Thompson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I actually can't imagine a film crew behind the camera when watching Seven Samurai. It feels as if it is an entity that exists on its own right apart from a filmmaker's craft, as though I'm watching real events and not something that has been created. There isn't really much else to say to be honest...
It definitely is the masterpiece that its hyped up to be.
It definitely is essential viewing.
It definitely is one of the greatest films ever made.
It definitely is one of my favourite films.
It definitely is all that.
It is everything.
