I mean this in the most non-hyperbolic way possible but this is the single most self-indulgent ending I have ever seen... and yet I sat as a glutton through the entire thing, begging for more. Never can I remember sitting in a theatre with both my heart pounding and my eyes watering at the same time until now.
We hold on to the memories of our loves past because that's all that we can do. Even as the last shot seems to hold forever, as if we the viewer are reluctant to let it go.
