  I’ve been seeing a lot of Ari Aster revisionism recently and I’ve not been here for it. Here-dont’-you-EVER-raise-your-voice-at-me-I-am-your-MOTHER-itary was (and still is) a masterpiece, and Midsommar, though flawed, remains a lot of fun. Beau is Afraid on the other hand… hoo boy. Let’s just say the “Aster is a hack” allegations are starting to make sense. It’s not ALL bad – the first act where the entire population of Beau’s crime-ridden city is…
